Chinoiserie is the extravagant, whimsical, dreamlike 17th Century Western interpretation of Chinese and East Asian artistic traditions. This Chinoiserie Bird stencil design has been inspired in particular by the exquisite hand painted wallpapers at the palace of Drottningholm in Sweden. Use for an elegant, glamorous or avant-garde look. Add touches of gold leaf for an authentically palatial finish. Technical Information: Annie’s stencils are made from a durable, washable, semi-opaque plastic (250 micron/10 mil Mylar) making them reusable for multiple projects. Apply your stencil with either a Sponge Roller or Stencil Brush, taping your design down for ease of application. Further instructions and ideas are on the packaging.
