The brand offers pendant, table lamps, wall lamps, lampshades in hand woven and hand printed cotton.
Lamps that fill the space with volume and lightness. Subtle paradox that gives the brand its character.
The prints and fabrics are available in a range of colors : indigo blue, gold, silver, white, orange fluo, pink, earth, flax and sand. Paris au mois d'août likes traditional patterns of azulejos. works on updated classics and presents original collections twice a year.
Paris au mois d'août evokes this period of the year where Paris exudes a particular charm 'Paris in August'...

Our Ethics
Paris au mois d'août, collaborates respectfully with artisans in France and abroad with decent and fair working conditions and wages. We refuse to employ children. We work with weavers in Bangladesh for our cotton fabric, that will be transformed into pendants, table lamps, wall lamps, lampshades.

Most of them are climate refugees in the center of the country along the river Brahmaputra-Jamuna. They benefit from an assistance program that allows them to live and work in their region of origin.

They weave for Paris au mois d'août , entirely by hand cottons of great delicacy, which require months of precise work.

The cotton is then printed in manual screen print or block print, according to the designs of our collections.

Paris au mois d'août also collaborates with partners in France and Europe for table lamps, wall lamps and floor lamps as well as for all of the electrical components of the luminaires.
