About our Deckchairs and Fabric:
The fabric is designed by a mill located in a small village in the South-West of France. They have been producing fabric since 1873 using traditional weaving methods.
This fabric called Parasol, is 100% acrylic and is made for the mill by Sunbrella in France. Sunbrella fabric is renowned for its outstanding resistance to UV rays. Built to be an all weather fabric, it will keep its vibrant colour for years. The fabric also features a stain and soil resistant finish.

Our Deckchairs feature:
  • French Canvas Acrylic Slings - Made in France by Sunbrella & fade resistant
  • Removable Slings - gives you the flexibility to change your look
  • Hopea Hardwood Frames for superior strength *see below
  • 3 Recline Settings for that perfect angle to talk, read or snooze
  • Fully Foldable - easy to store away
  • Frames made in NZ
Made in NZ using Hopea timber
Hopea is a strong and durable timber suitable for permanent outdoor use. During initial weathering the timber may leach a brown stain. Care should be taken during this stage to avoid staining of paved, tiled or timber areas and also staining of the fabric sling. (The initial weathering & leaching can be hastened by removing the sling & leaving the frame in the rain or hosing it on a lawn area.)
